Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Brewer to join our team at Guilford Hall Brewery! As one of our Brewers, you will be responsible for producing high-quality craft beer while adhering to strict sanitation and safety guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a passion for brewing and possess strong mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain brewing equipment.

Duties:
- Execute all aspects of the brewing process, including milling, mashing, lautering, boiling, fermenting, and packaging
- Monitor fermentation progress and adjust temperature and other variables as needed
- Clean and sanitize brewing equipment to ensure product quality and prevent contamination
- Operate and maintain brewery equipment, including brewhouse, fermentation vessels, filters, pumps, and packaging machinery
- Conduct quality control tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
- Maintain accurate records of brewing activities, including ingredient usage, batch yields, and quality control data
- Effectively collaborate with other team members to develop new beer recipes and improve existing ones

Qualifications:
- ***Ability to easily, and repetitively, lift 50lbs

- Previous experience in brewing or a related field within the food industry is preferred
- Strong knowledge of brewing processes, ingredients, and recipe development
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely
- Familiarity with sanitation practices in a brewery setting
- Understanding of mechanical systems and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
