SUMMARY

The Member Services Concierge is vital in managing member inquiries, concerns, and requests by ensuring prompt and effective resolution through coordination with relevant departments. This role involves addressing special requests from members, catering to unique needs, and guaranteeing satisfaction through follow-ups. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive information about the property, nearby amenities, and exclusive events to enhance the member and guest experience. The role also involves maintaining detailed records, ensuring property safety, reporting incidents, and adhering to safety protocols. Additionally, the Member Concierge fosters a welcoming environment, helps, and expresses genuine gratitude to all members and guests while upholding professional communication standards. Cultivating positive relationships and supporting a cohesive work environment is key to this role. This job is a seasonal job with the potential of an extension. The dates would be from May 6, 2024 - September 3, 2024.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The ideal candidate will have a combination of skills and experience in administration, member & guest relations, communications, and hospitality. Must be willing to work as a team player with all Club staff and comply with all company policies and guidelines.

Member Services Concierge Responsibilities:

Member Relations:

  • Offer a warm and hospitable welcome to members and guests, ensuring their contentment upon entering the Club. Promptly and courteously respond to member and client inquiries, ensuring efficient and friendly service. Serve as an information hub for members and guests effectively communicating detailed information about Club events, policies, and services.
  • Uphold the Club's pristine condition and readiness for tours, contributing to its immaculate presentation. Ensure a secure and comfortable environment for all members and guests, overseeing children's supervision within designated youth activities.
  • Assist members in navigating and utilizing the member portal and app efficiently.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of club policies, department functions, and operational systems, ensuring organizational coherence across departments.
  • Assist in organizing and executing Club events and activities smoothly.

Administrative:

  • Communicate comprehensive information about Club events and services to members.
  • Oversee various administrative tasks, including email and phone correspondence, club reservations, member interactions, and accounting inquiries.
  • Assist members in making reservations for dining, sports, fitness, and club events.
  • Support in updating and distributing marketing assets across Club premises.

Team Player:

  • Collaborate effectively as a team player with all Club staff members.
  • Thrive under pressure, adeptly solve problems, and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Embrace change to consistently deliver optimal results, overcoming obstacles with a proactive attitude.
  • Foster and sustain meaningful relationships with members and their teams.
  • Maintain a professional, polished well-groomed appearance at all times.

Qualifications:

o Minimum of one year of experience in Hospitality

o High School Diploma or equivalent

o Minimum age requirement: 18 years old or above

o Skilled in direct interaction with members, guests, and clients with an outgoing and high-energy personality

o Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

o Ability to work with management staff and other employees in a professional manner.

o Must be professional, polished, and well-groomed.

o Advanced knowledge working with Microsoft Office Suite with strong technical literacy and ability to work on multiple systems

o Ability to work a variety of schedules including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Demand & Work Environment:

During the execution of job responsibilities, the employee will frequently engage in verbal communication and auditory activities. The role involves standing, walking, sitting, using hands for tasks, grasping objects, reaching, and occasionally stooping, kneeling, or crouching. There may be instances where the employee is required to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds. Vision capabilities encompass close and distant viewing.

The job primarily operates indoors within a controlled environment. However, occasional work may occur outdoors, subjecting the employee to moderate noise. Our hiring process considers all qualified applicants irrespective of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, disability, veteran status, and other protected characteristics as per legal guidelines.

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
