We are a rapidly growing venture-backed company that have developed market-leading solutions built to enable gig workers, cities, and enterprises to leverage the most powerful gig mobility data insights in the industry. We've raised over $20 million in venture capital financing from top-tier investors such as Crosslink Capital, Autotech Ventures, Techstars, Switch Ventures, Scribble Ventures, Mountain State Capital, 412 Venture Fund, and more.

TheGridwise app is the leading business platform for gig economy drivers, helping them maximize their earnings and track their business performance all in one place. Our app is currently supporting a growing driver network that represents 10% of all US gig drivers.

Growing to possess one of the largest gig-driver networks in the mobility industry has enabled Gridwise to standup a unique ad platform called Gridwise Ads, which focuses on promoting value-added services to gig drivers while helping brands reach a highly targeted and unique audience of interest.

Gridwise is on its way to becoming the de facto operating platform for gig drivers and offer solutions that empower the entire ecosystem with solutions built to improve the way people and goods move.

The role

Our growing Gridwise Ads team has partnered with over 200 brands as a strategic digital media channel to reach our curated audience of gig workers. To support our rapid growth, we are scaling the Gridwise Ads sales team and are looking a highly motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to grow our customer base of some of today's most innovative brands.

We will teach you about the product, broader market, and business development strategy so you can be successful at Gridwise in the near-term and in B2B Sales long-term.

What you're responsible for

  • Lead outbound generation of new business opportunities in specific target segments through email, social channels, and other creative ways to reach a prospect
  • Develop new prospect target lists through research and data tools, working closely with Marketing and Sales leadership
  • Prospecting campaign management and reporting on your progress weekly and monthly
  • Schedule calls/meetings with qualified prospects
  • Help refine our sales and marketing efforts by participating in cross-team and executive feedback loops to share learnings
  • Support management of the CRM and develop recurring performance reports

What we're looking for

  • At least 1 years of sales development experience
  • Experience executing B2B sales & marketing strategies
  • Salesforce experience preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment while maintaining a collaborative, team-oriented approach to your work
  • Self-motivated and results-driven personality
  • Excellent verbal and written communicator, with strong attention to detail
  • Solutions-oriented with a passion for helping people solve problems
  • Proactive and always seeking out new opportunities to drive revenue
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills with the ability to manage several campaigns at once
  • Independent with a positive attitude and team player mentality
