Must work as part of a team that inculdes the Patient Service Managers, Nursing, and Materials representatives to include supply vendors, Customer Service Cordinator and other Material staff in order to ensure quality customer service and meeting patient care needs as they relate to suplies. Works independently and reports to Supervisor and (or) Manager.EEO/AA/Disability/VeteranResponsibilities1.Responsible for replenishing all carts to ensure supplies are available at all times.1.1As necessary, performs inventories of cost centers as assigned by SPD Manager within established time frames and observed by the SPD Manager.2.Assists the SPD Manager in maintaining a safe and clean environment in the SPD Center.2.1Monitors employee activity to ensure the safe operation of Materials Center equipment such as fork lifts, pallet movers, etc., as observed by the SPD Manager.3.Performs various departmental related duties as assigned by Manager to support departmental mission.3.1Performs in a variety of roles as necessary and feasible in bulk stores and receiving, including, but not limited to quality assurance, order picking, stock movement and general upkeep as observed by the SPD Manager.QualificationsEDUCATIONGraduation from high school or equivalent.EXPERIENCEOne (1) to two (2) years' experience in distribution and inventory management, including significant responsibility for the leadership of other employees.LICENSUREN/ASPECIAL SKILLSFundamental skills in planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the activities of a work force. Good communication skills. Must possess basic math skills.PHYSICAL DEMANDRequires lifting up to 50 lbs. Pushing heavy rack trucks loaded with supplies. Perform job responsibilities in a confined supply room and weorking to OSHA standards.Additional InformationOne (1) to two (2) years' experience in distribution and inventory management, including significant responsibility forthe leadership of other employeesFundamental skills in planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the activities of a work force.
