Position: Account Manager

Department: Sales

The focus of this position will be to maximize sales opportunities and profitable turnover for the business, within the designated accounts assigned by the Sales Director, focusing on existing and new business opportunities. This will not include the management of Global Key Accounts.

The Account Manager will be responsible for sales budget and portfolio of accounts as defined in sales plan.

Flexibility with regards to role & account base is essential. Domestic travel, travel to customers and occasional travel to Europe when required.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Grow and develop the current portfolio of business throughout the defined industry and existing markets.
  • Prospecting of new business working with Sales Director, Development team and Operations Team to assess feasibility & convert to product portfolio.
  • Achieve sales budget based on own area accounts. Including price and margin management and price increases.
  • Debt Management based on accounts monthly debtor list; Admin, reporting, expenses, price lists, general filing.
  • Pipeline management & reporting, in support of sales forecast & budget management.
  • Completion of required sales administration processes.
  • Completion of tracking, managing, and updating information in CRM salesforce is a must.
  • Professional management of the full sales cycle. Positive representation of the Greiner Packaging Proposition at all times including directly with customers, potential customers, relevant trade shows, exhibitions and other networking events.
  • Liaison to internal customer services team in regards to customer requirements, sales support and fulfilment of account requirements. Communication and alignment on all elements of account development.

Experience

  • Proven track record in sales and/or customer service with minimum 2 years of experience
  • Existing network into customer base within the dairy industry preferred.
  • Preferred knowledge of plastic processing in the injection molding or thermoforming technology
  • Ability to close deals and strong business acumen and sales driven personality
  • Credibility at senior level within the organization
  • Excellent relationship building, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-sufficient working style, however a team-player
  • Fully computer literate, in particular with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ambition and determination to be successful, flexible approach and willing to go the extra mile

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
