A Valid PA Property & Casualty Insurance License is required for this position.

As an Entry Level Licensed Personal Lines Customer Service Representative, you will assist current customers through inbound and/or outbound calls answering their questions and concerns regarding insurance coverage and claims. Your overall goal will be to retain customers and expand business by providing excellent service in a professional and consultative manner.

• Support Producers through servicing of existing customers
• Receive, Review, and Process policy change requests as received
• Receive, Review, and Process any renewals as assigned
• Maintain client files and ensure proper documentation, by processing all policies, endorsement changes, invoices, Evidence of insurance, binders, ID cards, documentation, activities, etc., according to agency procedures, and within agency timelines as assigned
• Respond to client inquiries, incoming e-mail, mail, and company requests in accordance with agency guidelines
• Review all items to be processed, to insure items were received as ordered.
• Write/bind new business
• Process Client’s claims when applicable
• Prepare billing following agency’s credit and collections policies
• Participate in courses for insurance/sales skills. Maintain current knowledge of underwriting requirements of carriers. Keep current with industry trends by reading appropriate journals and company bulletins
• Participate in any special projects at management’s request
• All additional duties as assigned.

Pay: $37,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
