Position:  IML Technician

Department: IML 

Shift: Overnight Shift, Rotating 12-hour Shift (5:50pm- 6am)

Greiner Packaging is seeking an IML Technician to join our team in Pittston TWP, 

Pennsylvania. This position is essential to maintaining smooth production operations at 

our manufacturing plant.

This position is a technical role which will assist in the establishment of best practices, 

and ensure company Quality, Output and Hygiene standards are maintained within the 

IML Department. This is a hands on role with a high degree of machine operation, 

including technical duties.

Main Responsibilities 

• Effective machine operation and packing of product 

• Ensure machine efficiency levels are met and maintained 

• Ensure quality conformance for all machines 

• Drive and Implement Continuous Improvement Program 

• Use Technical knowledge for trouble shooting/faultfinding on shift 

• Conduct training for packers in accordance with the departmental training plan 

• Support all machine downtime activities on shift

• Covers partners as needed for breaks etc. 

• Provide assistance and technical support to maintenance dept. 

• Communication of department related issues – eg with mgr; other technicians, 

maintenance department, via log book, production records, whiteboards, 

meetings 

• Changeover / machine performance & optimization activities, if required for future 

products/customers 

• Perform other duties assigned

Requirements

Required Skills 

• 2 yrs in a technical role in a relevant manufacturing environment, including 

technical duties 

• Experience in a high speed manufacturing environment;

• Injection Molding Experience

• Technical capability & leadership capability 

• Requires hand washing multiple times throughout a shift, including exposure to 

cleaning agents that may be harsh to the skin. (PPE Provided)
