Backed by a robust inbound marketing engine and a team of Sales Development Reps who assist you with prospecting leads, you will quickly immerse yourself in the world of Property Technology with a goal of solving and simplifying operational inefficiencies for property managers. While our training, management methodology and support is diligent, Zego sales executives are provided with the freedom and independence to own their territory and book of business. Why you should work here: Leverage a world class training, learning, development platform to hone sales skills and quickly ramp Practice deal strategy with directors, trainers and piers to enhance your abilities to drive complex deals Work cross functionally with other ZEGO departments and learn internal processes allowing for future career growth What you’ll do here: Identify new business opportunities within the Zego client base Attain individual, department and company goals by building the client relationship through upselling or cross selling new products and features Provide clients with solutions to improve the efficiency of their business Engage with internal Zego operational and support teams to assist clients in meeting their product goals Negotiate the terms of an agreement, complete the proper documents, administer our internal processes, and close sales Maintain a professional relationship will all internal customers Basic administrative duties including but not limited to updates and maintenance of appropriate reporting/database systems (i.e. Salesforce) Represent our organization at tradeshows, events and demonstrations Review sales performance periodically, aiming to meet or exceed targets Diligently use, maintain and update customer & prospect information within Salesforce.com Travel as necessary to move deals forward and meet sales goals About you: 2 or more years of sales experience Software/SaaS sales is a plus Bachelor’s degree is a plus Proficient in MS Office Applications, Excel, Google Apps, and CRM tools such as Salesforce.com Intellectually curious with a strong work ethic and entrepreneurial mindset Within one month you’ll: Attend Zego’s Sales Bootcamp in San Diego, CA, where you will learn go-to-market messaging, key differentiators, ideal customer profiles and specific value propositions Meet with current members of the Core Sales and Account Executive teams to build relationships and hear successes and areas of opportunity Gain a strong understanding of Zego’s Sales Methodology Begin developing your pipeline Within 3 months you’ll: Consider yourself an expert in Zego’s solutions Own your numbers – consistently achieve your goals on activity metrics and conversations within your territory Have a strong understanding of the business, and teach us something we don’t know Close your first deal(s) and begin earning commission and attainment towards quota. Within 6 months you’ll: Continue to own your numbers – consistently achieve your goals on activity metrics and conversations within your territory Begin closing more complex deals. Drive sales opportunities through each stage of the pipeline Consider yourself an expert on property technology solutions Within one year you’ll: Consistently exceed your new business targets and continue your track record of closing opportunities and exceeding quota. Develop cross functional channels with other ZEGO departments to streamline lead generation. Consider yourself an expert on property management operations. The US base salary for this full-time position is $75,000 benefits. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
