We have partnered with the world's largest restaurant group, renowned for its extensive network of diverse and iconic food brands to help identify a skilled Manager of Technical Accounting. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial reporting, specifically focusing on complex accounting issues and technical accounting matters. As the Manager of Technical Accounting, you will be responsible for developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, and providing expert guidance on financial matters to various stakeholders within the organization.

Responsibilties

• Research, interpret, and apply accounting standards to complex transactions in the restaurant industry, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting regulations.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategic goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and external auditors, to address technical accounting issues and provide expert guidance on complex financial matters.
• Lead and oversee the implementation of new accounting standards, ensuring smooth transitions and providing necessary training and support to the finance team.
• Conduct regular reviews and analyses of financial data, identifying potential areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions to enhance the overall financial reporting process.
• Stay abreast of emerging accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and industry trends, providing timely updates and recommendations to senior management to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Prepare and present comprehensive technical accounting reports and presentations to senior management and external stakeholders, providing clear insights into the financial performance and compliance of the organization.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting (public accounting)
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations, including GAAP and IFRS, with a demonstrated ability to interpret and apply complex accounting guidelines.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve complex accounting issues effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
