The Senior Manager, Technical Operations for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for the continuous, sustained improvement across the enterprise through the implementation of Danaher Business System tools and methodologies.
This position is part of the Beckman Coulter East US manufacturing located in Hialeah, Florida and will be onsite. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.
You will be a part of the Operations team and report to the Sr. Director of Operations responsible for east US Manufacturing sites. If you thrive in a fast growth role and want to work to build a world-class manufacturing organization-read on.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Lead the Miami Reagents Manufacturing Technical Operations team.
• Develop processes and procedure to support the manufacturing or highly technical reagents and calibrators to support the Hematology an Life Science products.
• Directly provide formal and informal technical and leadership support to the team
• Be the leader and expert in process improvement work concepts, principles, and practices for specified site.
• Use Problem solving tools to address technical and processes failures.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• BS or BA degree in a Science or Engineering, field or related field; Master's degree preferred
• 14 years of Operations or Engineering experience; or 12 years with Master's degree
• Ability to design, develop, and implement processes for an operating business.
• Mastery of a variety of technical field such as Polymers, Chemistry, Biologic and instrumentation.
• Familiarity with various manufacturing process technologies (if supporting Operations areas).
• Good writing and administrative skills, including computer skills (word processing, graphics, spreadsheet, etc.)
• Demonstrated proficiency in time and project management

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
