Responsibilities
Manage daily operating accounting activity and monthly closing process for multiple real estate projects.Duties will include:

• Manage financial activities across multiple real estate development projects
• Consolidate and analyze financial results for multiple real estate development projects
• Review monthly budgets and cash flow forecasts
• Review monthly funding draws
• Review and assist team with reconciling commissions and deposit accounts
• Assist in preparing monthly management reports and adhoc requests
• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Big 4 experience a plus
• Five (5) years experience including management experience
• Ability to manage accounting for multiple real estate projects-REQUIRED
• Experience in posting general ledger journal entries
• Experience in preparing and reviewing construction budgets
• Experience in technical accounting research, preparing financial statements and related disclosures
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word & Excel and Outlook and financial systems experience
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
• Ability to work overtime as required

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA required, resumes of candidates without a CPA will NOT be considered for hire.
• Master's degree in accounting, finance or other business discipline (preferred)
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
