The Accountant provides financial, administrative and clerical support by ensuring payments are completed and expenses are controlled by receiving payments, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices according to established policies and procedures in an efficient, timely and accurate manner.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSThe day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to:Reconcile customers’ accounts at the end of the monthPrepare customers’ statements at the beginning of every monthBill credit companies monthlyMaintain Accounts Receivable Customer filesMonitor payments to open invoicesReview AR aging report to ensure complianceDaily sales entriesDeposit checksPetty cash reports reconciliationHandle Credit cards disputesResponsible for filling payments and scanningQualificationsThe requirements for this position include but are not limited to:Knowledge and SkillsAbility to fluently speak, read, write and understand EnglishComputer proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft OfficeAble to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with all customers, team members and managementExcellent organization skillsEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred1-2 years’ experience in accountingOr any similar combination of education and experienceAdditional InformationJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $40,000.00 /yearJob Location:Miami, FLRequired education:Bachelor'sRequired experience:Accounting: 2 yearsRequired license or certification:QuickBooksAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
