The Sales Director will lead our sales team and drive the growth and expansion of Gesture. In this critical role, you will be responsible for identifying and creating new business opportunities by generating and qualifying leads, initiating contact with potential clients, and nurturing relationships to facilitate the sales process. The Sales Director will collaborate closely with the sales team to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation

  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and target industries.
  • Use various methods (including cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and networking) to generate a consistent pipeline of qualified leads.

Prospect Qualification

  • Evaluate and assess the needs, interests, and budget of potential customers.
  • Qualify leads based on predetermined criteria and prioritize them for further engagement.

Initial Contact

  • Reach out to prospects via phone, email, or other communication channels to introduce Gesture and its products/services.
  • Create and deliver compelling pitches to capture the interest of potential customers.

Relationship Building

  • Maintain regular communication with leads to nurture relationships and build trust.
  • Provide information, answer inquiries, and address concerns to move leads through the sales funnel.

Data Management

  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of lead interactions in the CRM system.
  • Monitor and report on lead generation and qualification metrics to measure performance.

Market Insight

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to adjust strategies accordingly.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing to align lead generation efforts with marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Participate in sales and strategy meetings to provide input and feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven track record in lead generation, inside sales, or related roles.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to close deals.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with potential clients.
  • Persistent, goal-oriented, and self-motivated.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
  • Knowledge of the industry or market the company operates in is beneficial.
