We're currently seeking a talented Back End Developer to join our growing team. Job Description

As a Back End Developer at Gesture, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our backend infrastructure. Leveraging your expertise in Node.js, Express.js, and modern cloud platforms, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that power our digital experiences. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and WebSocket connections.
- Utilize Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Cloud Functions for serverless computing.
- Implement unit tests and maintain code quality using Docker containers.
- Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Maintain version control and CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
- Participate in architectural decisions and technical discussions.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in backend development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Strong experience with Node.js and Express.js.
- Knowledgeable in Cloud Functions, especially on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong experience with unit testing and Docker containers.
- Understanding of RESTful API design and WebSocket implementation.
- Proficient in database technologies (both SQL and NoSQL).
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
- Understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize application performance.
- Proficient in integrating third-party platforms and APIs.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS.
- Familiarity with additional backend frameworks and environments.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Contributions to open-source projects.
- Experience as an engineering lead or senior engineer.
