Geometric Solutions is Hiring a Software Account Manager Near Chicago, IL

General Purpose:
The primary objective for this position is to build, grow, and leverage a client base within the Software Sales group.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Grow new markets for software sales with customers in various markets including automotive and aerospace
  • Expand sales through direct interaction with customer contacts
  • Prepare and present responses to RFPs, RFIs, and unsolicited proposals
  • Achieve company revenue goals
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the market segment
  • Cultivate strong customer relationships
  • Maintain and expand client relationships through the delivery of high-quality customer service
  • Prepare for and attend monthly sales review meetings
  • Deliver professional sales presentations
  • Attend trade shows as appropriate
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills & Abilities:

  • Customer focused
  • Have experience in one or more areas with regard to NX CAD/CAM, Solid Edge, Teamcenter, and/or Tecnomatix
  • Highly self-motivated and multi-tasking oriented
  • Possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Capable of learning complex technical material quickly

Requirements:

  • Software Sales background required – preferably in the selling of the Siemens suite of products
  • Superior sales ability, management skills and leadership qualities
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Financial, business planning, presentation and negotiation skills a must
  • Solution selling experience required
  • Solid understanding of PLM – Product Life Cycle Management
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work independently and complete duties and projects with little direct supervision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the Internet
