We are seeking a full-time local candidate for this hybrid position, 2-3 days in the office.

You’ll help business leaders look around corners with data-driven recommendations that improve speed of execution, employee engagement, and talent development. As the workforce specialist for learning and development functions and influencing performance outcomes, you will drive how we adapt our processes and philosophies to enable Geffen Mesher to deliver excellence to our people and clients.

Requirements

What you bring:
The ability to support the delivery of the Firm’s workforce technical learning & development program, and administration in the areas of learning resources, content, and curriculum development, learning platform & firm production software operations through the following:

  • Optimize utilization across the assigned practitioner population by aligning onboarding, orientation, and advisory and staffing decisions to support the deployment strategy for the business or practice area.
  • In collaboration with the Director, consults with business or department partners to identify learning and development needs and makes recommendations of appropriate solutions that meet organizational learning demands.
  • Actively engage in support and design of technical support and further learning needs, coaching and advising as needed.
  • Advise and support assigned practitioners with current or near-term availability to project assignments that align with their skills, professional goal, and/or staffing preferences.
  • Proactively review staffing data for assigned population and develop meaningful insights on trends, forecast, opportunities for improvement, and areas of concern.
  • In coordination with the Director, collaborates on best practices for Learning & Development Department, recommends and assists with the development of training materials, programs, curriculums, and delivery.
  • In coordination with the Director, partners with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify and/or develop content and design training material, if needed. Recommends appropriate solutions and delivery methods to optimize knowledge transfer.
  • Maintain an understanding of the business, markets, and service offerings assigned with the Firm.
  • Work jointly in work groups and team members to share knowledge and contribute effectively to complete tasks, develop ideas and processes across organizational boundaries.
  • Adhere to the core values and standards of the organization.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or equivalent experience required. 
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) current designation, or equivalent experience in a professional services firm. 
  • One year of demonstrated experience developing and implementing learning strategy and operations for technical content.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in English language.
