Position: Office Administrator

We are looking for a Office Administrator to play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth office operations and supporting various departments within the organization.

A day in the life:

  • Providing comprehensive administrative support, such as answering calls, greeting visitors, and setting up new employees.
  • Managing office and breakroom inventory, including processing incoming and outgoing mail and shipments.
  • Assisting with travel arrangements, expense reporting, and coordinating company events and employee meetings.
  • Collaborating with HR, Marketing, IT, Accounting, and Safety departments to offer local support and facilitate vendor negotiations.
  • Coordinating facility projects and assisting with special projects as needed.

This role requires versatility, attention to detail, and adaptability to assist in achieving the company's strategic objectives.

What you Bring to GdB, a SAM Company:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
  • Longevity in prior employment
  • Superior communication, presentation, organization, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality
  • 4-year degree is preferred, but not required
  • Experience with Concur Travel and Expense preferred, but not required
  • Notary Public in New York State or the ability to obtain is a plus
