Who you are:

As a General Accountant II with Frost, you are our quality control. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing advanced journal entries to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting throughout the accounting department. More than that, this role is about providing top-quality service with integrity, caring, excellence top of mind.

What you’ll do:

• Prepare advanced journal entries to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting throughout the accounting department
• Assist department with the monthly financial statement closing process and consolidation of multiple entities to ensure adherence to accounting standards
• Produce complex general ledger reconciliations to verify that account balances in accordance with department guidelines and internal controls
• Compile documentation to respond to internal and external audit requests and to assist with researching general accounting inquiries from various departments
• Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 2 years of GAAP accounting experience, preferably in the financial services industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications

Additional Preferred Skills:

• CPA designation
