Summary
The Director – Operations Analytics is responsible for collecting, documenting, analyzing, and communicating key financial and business perfomance information to stakeholders, reccomending and implementing regular reporting solutions for leadership, forecasting workload needs, and supporting the resources and systems required to accomplish this effectively. Has responsibility for Operational Reporting and Data governance, as well as providing analysis and insight to the Operations team to drive continuous improvement. This role will work closely with leaders across product, operations, management and Growth to support and implement high-quality, data-driven decisions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Direct, manage and deliver Operational reporting projects and provide strategic direction and day-to-day leadership
- Collaborate with both internal departments and external businesses to plan and execute data development projects
- Be responsible for budget management and budget planning (building and maintaining financial tracking tools for the leadership team, working closely with our operations and finance teams on topics related to budget forecasting, monitoring, and accountability)
- Investigate and provide strategy on cost reductions or efficiency measures
- Ensure that scope, milestones/deadlines and activities are met within defined project plans, supported by the relevant KPIs
- Provide regularly scheduled communications via dashboards and / or reports to leadership and stakeholders
- Collect and analyze event profitability and performance data at macro and micro levels
- Develop and maintain solutions required to accomplish reporting goals
- Represent AV on assigned projects (i.e. Data Governance & SEM)
- Work closely and collaboratively with other business units to ensure transparency across reporting
- Champion the AV JCA Power BI initiative to drive adoption by training others in its use
- Work with Salesforce, Growth, and Sales Enablement teams to ensure accurate data is input for proper pipeline, forecasting, and event alignment
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university preferred
- Minimum seven (7) years professional industry experience
- Minimum three (3) years leadership experience
Travel Requirements
Travel 25% to 50%
