Uvalle Law Firm, PLLC is a personal injury law firm that is looking to add a Director of Pre-Litigation Operations to our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to serve as a “lieutenant” to our fast-paced, collaborative Chief Operating Officer. The Director of Pre-Litigation will be responsible for day-to-day management of our pre-litigation operations including case-related decisions and the implementation of processes and procedures, as well as contributing to strategic business decisions to achieve firm goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Chief Operating Officer to implement firm-wide initiatives with the pre-litigation team.
• Serve as manager and hands-on resource for pre-litigation team (intake, case management, medical records, insurance services, negotiations and closing teams).
• Collaborate with pre-litigation managers to implement process improvements as needed.
• Track pre-litigation KPIs and address issues as needed.
• Ensure cross-collaborations are occurring with all pre-lit teams.
• Conduct regular 1:1 meetings with pre-litigation managers as well as lead monthly pre-litigation management meeting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience at a personal injury law firm, preferably in a pre-litigation capacity (ex. Case management, legal assistant, etc.).
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.
• Understanding of personal injury pre-litigation processes and procedures.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proven ability to manage and lead a team.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in legal research and case management software.
