About the location: Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is a global, luxury hotel management company. This position is responsible for managing Preferred Partner and goaled managed Travel Industry accounts, based in New York. The Account Director will be responsible for driving revenues from these managed accounts and shifting share as demonstrated by YOY revenue growth. In addition, the position will have a high level of direct sales engagement to include sales calls, sales developments, entertainment, tradeshow and event participation, escort familiarization trips and host educational webinars. Communicating with hotels and senior leadership on industry trends, business practices and market opportunities is an integral part of this role. Additional areas of focus are new business development and driving Advisor ID adoption with our Preferred Partners. Key Activities: Generate Travel Industry revenues from the territory into Four Seasons properties globally Produce established room revenue goal from set group of Travel Industry and managed accounts Conduct webinars, sales presentations, familiarization trips, and site inspections and solicit new business Deliver highest ROI for each direct sales engagement Produce educational opportunities for Travel Industry accounts Conduct site experiences at our hotels to generate revenues Participate and lead with Four Seasons branded sales events Secure increased attendance for our webinar series Create and deliver Account Plans for top accounts and account with significant growth potential Submit expense reports, pre and post trip reports on s timely basis Prompt handling of all incoming correspondence by accounts and clients Coordinate with Sales Coordinator for daily administrative work Key Requirements and Qualifications: A proven track record in sales, consistently meeting or exceeding established revenue and activity goals Minimum of 5 years Hotel Sales experience (preferably in Travel Industry) Successful sales experience with assigned accounts Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong presentation skills Highly developed problem solving skills Proficient in computer skills—SalesForce, SalesDesk, Delphi, Excel, Word, PowerPoint Knowledge and professional use of social media as a tool to support business development Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle several projects/deadlines Ability to multitask and prioritize work load and projects simultaneously and efficiently Highly adaptable to teamwork Ability to travel for client meetings, events, trade shows and hotel visits Salary Range: 150,000 – 165,000 USD All internal applications must be submitted and approved in Workday by March 8, 2024.
