Fotofab LLC is Hiring a Marketing Specialist Near Chicago, IL

Fotofab has been an innovator in photochemical machining, metal forming, and engineered manufacturing solutions for over half a century. We are an ITAR registered company with certifications in AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015. Our main facility in Northwest Chicago houses multiple etching machines and a thoroughly equipped CAE/CAD department. Our second facility based in Elk Grove Village provides best-in-class tooling, forming, and stamping solutions.Fotofab is a critical and long-standing member of The Partner Companies (TPC) family. TPC is a highly acquisitive, private equity firm comprised of U.S. manufacturers that specialize in critical parts and/or assemblies made of metals (common engineering alloys and exotics), ceramics, engineered plastics, silicon, germanium, precious metals, and more for OEMs worldwide. The companies are under common, long-term ownership and all operate autonomously while working cooperatively when shared expertise is beneficial.

Position Overview:

Due to the profitable growth and maturity of Fotofab, we are seeking a driven and analytical Marketing Specialist to join our team. This critical leader will play a vital role in developing and executing our marketing strategy as we continue to grow and diversify the business. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for a wide range of initiatives, including the supervision of content creation and management of Fotofab’s online presence. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for marketing, and a desire to make a meaningful impact on an established and well-funded company.

This role requires an analytical mindset, the ability to collaborate cross-functionally, and a commitment to developing and maintaining a proactive marketing strategy. The right candidate will be a self-starter who proactively explores opportunities to add value as well as a fierce commitment to accomplishing company goals.

Responsibilities

  • Learn/ Integrate
  • Become entrenched in the business and quickly develop an understanding of Fotofab’s technical capabilities, business strategy, services, growth plans, internal and external stakeholders, customers, processes, systems, and the competitive landscape.
  • Project Management
  • Coordinates marketing plan including advertising, digital marketing (SEO, paid search, social), trade shows, and email and print campaigns, and updating marketing calendars.
  • Plans trade shows by identifying, assembling, and executing requirements, establishing contacts and schedules, and coordinating pre/post-show communication.
  • Keep promotional materials ready, working with contractors, inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipts.
  • Assist with website maintenance and content updates
  • Lead Generation
  • Develop and implement multichannel campaigns based on sales data insights.
  • Guide outside Marketing Agencies to meet defined goals. This includes:
  • Website – Monitor and maintain regularly
  • SEO – Employ technical and on-page best practices
  • Paid Search – Continually improve keyword strategy and target audience
  • Content – Ensure alignment with company brand and goals
  • Social Media – Verify match of brand guidelines and company strategy
  • Oversee and improve lead generation tactics based on tracking the data results
  • Communications
  • Help manage correspondence from the sales team and external sales reps
  • Build collaborative messaging with sister companies to cross-sell and promote capabilities
  • Promote Fotofab’s vision, mission, and values internally throughout the year
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to ensure alignment and success of ABM initiatives
  • Research, Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Supports sales team by providing market trends, account analyses, and competitive analysis
  • Research potential customers by evaluating market potential, product solutions needed, key players, and collaboration/cross-selling opportunities
  • Conduct and relay customer satisfaction feedback
  • Track and report on the effectiveness of campaigns (ROI) and lead generation tactics, including reach, messaging, and conversion
  • Report New Customer data monthly, giving a breakdown of source attribution and ROI
  • Monitor marketing budget by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably within technical and/or manufacturing environments
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and best practices
  • Proven ability to direct or create compelling and informative content in alignment with customer demographics
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team
  • Track record managing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong presentation and business case development expertise. Solid analytical skills with a fierce attention to detail
  • Systems savvy - experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, and ABM platforms (Apollo, ZoomInfo, etc.) as well as proficiency in MS office (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred)
