We are looking for an experienced Electrical Service Technician to evaluate, repair, and/or maintain electrical systems in the Commercial and Industrial fields covering the North Metro Area of Atlanta. The Electrical Service Technician must be able to work on their own with minimal supervision.At times, this position will require after-hours calls, weekend work, and travel.Job Responsibilities:
Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs in commercial and industrial settings
Diagnose and identify electrical problems using various testing devices and tools
Repair or replace defective wiring, equipment, fixtures, and other electrical components
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution and industrial control systems
Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
Collaborate with customers to understand their electrical needs and provide appropriate solutions
Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations
Keep accurate records of all work performed, including materials used and time spent on each task in a daily report form and on our application
Provide cost estimates for electrical repairs and installations to assist estimating
Conduct preventive maintenance to identify potential electrical issues and avoid system failures
Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines
Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in electrical services
Job Requirements:
Two-year Electrical, Technical, or related degree
Completion of an electrical apprenticeship.
At least 5 years of experience as an Electrical Service Technician
Proficiency in interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations.
Ability to use various testing and diagnostic equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills
Experience operating hand tools, power tools, and metering-testing equipment
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members.
Valid Georgia Driver’s license and clean driving record.
