Forward Wellness Counseling and Consulting Services, LLC is Hiring an Employee and Culture Manager (HR Manager) Near Pittsburgh, PA

Forward Wellness is a fast-growing mental health practice. We focus on providing access to mental health care with a focus on supporting individuals and families navigating reproduction, neurodivergence, and LGBTQIA needs.

We are in need of a knowledgeable HR professional to support us with the growing pains of a small business and help our culture to thrive with multiple cultures, personalities, and accommodations. Our admin team is almost 100% remote and has been since the formation of the practice in 2015. However, office space in Pittsburgh is available if you prefer to work out of the office.

Job Title: Employee and Culture Manager

Job Type: Part-time/ Hourly (Fully Remote with optional office space available) – Approximately 20 hours a week

The primary role of this position will be to manage and oversee various HR practices across the practice and introduce workplace policies that enhance culture and performance with fair/ equitable compensation.

This includes but is not limited to:

Recruitment Efforts

  • Lead recruiting activities for the organization by implementing strategies, processes, and procedures that build a high-quality and diverse talent pipeline, including coordinating all stages of candidate experience;

HR Systems and Policies

  • Improve and audit the employee handbook that communicates FW’s culture and expectations;
  • Introduce workplace policies and communication channels that address employees’ concerns and complaints;
  • Monitor changing employment and compensation regulations to ensure all HR practices are legally compliant;
  • Serve as a resource and subject matter expert to advise leadership and staff on facets of human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations;

Culture Staff Appreciation initiatives

  • Organize and implement DEI initiatives - including building policy, training, and awareness efforts;
  • Oversee employee development professional trainings;
  • Plan team-building activities care packages workplace celebrations.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in HR, preferably in a recruitment role
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a similar discipline
  • Prior experience working within the dynamics of a small business
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with recruitment and screening techniques and practices
  • Understanding of local, state, and federal labor laws

This position will be paid biweekly on Thursday at a rate of $35/hour, less applicable withholdings.

Terms of position:

- This position will be reviewed on a quarterly basis and based on the demands and growth of the practice.

- This position will be an hourly position.

- This position includes CE reimbursement, tech reimbursement, PTO/ Sick/ Holiday Hours Self-care/ Volunteer incentive hours (6 hr/month).

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $35.00 per hour
