Summary:

The Sr. Financial Analyst will provide business support and partnership to the Segment and Product Line Controllers of the Drilling, Subsea and Davis Lynch Product Lines of FET. The position is responsible for independently compiling and reporting information as requested and works collaboratively with teams and may serve as a liaison with Information Technology Business Intelligence and other stakeholders, as needed. This position is actively involved in developing and advancing best practices and tools for business analysis.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Prepares reports and projections based on analyses.
• Reports statistical information in graphical and other presentation formats.
• Develops and/or assists with annual operating budgets and maintenance of monthly dashboards of key indicators and external benchmarks.
• Identifies financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
• Improves financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending improvements to management.
• Highlights performance issues, identifies problems, and researches solutions to make recommendations to management for continuous improvement.
• Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data.
• Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses.
• Increases productivity by developing automated accounting applications and coordinating information requirements.
• Creates and maintains financial models for use across the organization.
• Provides ad-hoc analyses on an as needed basis.
• Support special projects or financial analysis when needed by division management.
• Assist with creation of dashboards and other automated reporting in Power BI

Skills/Knowledge

• Strong understanding of business finance and analytics
• Great interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
• Comprehensive knowledge of spreadsheet applications and finance-related software.
• Advanced knowledge of Power BI reporting and report building/coding
• Ability to present data findings and make recommendations based on analyzing the data.
• Strong time management and organizational skills

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or equivalent.
• CPA preferred.

Experience

• 7 years of experience or Master's Degree.
• Experience with creation of reports and automated dashboards with DAX, M, SQL, Tableau, Snowflake or other data analytics tools.
