Cameron LNG LLC is Hiring a Financial Analyst Near Houston, TX
Primary Purpose:
The Financial Analyst is responsible for running the monthly report models and reconciling the data, supporting the periodic reporting and analysis activities, and contributing to the maintenance and development of automated reporting and analytical tools and systems.
This position will be located Houston, TX.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Run the monthly report models, and reconcile data between different sources
- Collect the data and update the monthly reports, such as LRTA KPIs, STIs, company dashboard
- Participate in preparing presentations for monthly financial performance reviews, yearly budget submissions, and financial updates to the Board
- Help to analyze the financial performance compared to budgets and forecasts
- Participate in the monthly rolling forecasts and yearly budgeting activities
- Support in maintaining the structure in BPC and the financial templates
- Contribute to maintain, improve and automate financial performance reporting, dashboards and KPI’s using SAP BPC and Power BI
- Take part in collecting and preparing the benchmarking data regarding the HeadOffice departments
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university in accounting, finance, economics or another business discipline
Experience:
- 0 to 3 years of financial experience in related job function.
Skills/ Knowledge/ Abilities:
- Requires a working knowledge of accounting and financial reporting principles
- Experience using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Knowledge of SAP and SAP BPC. Power BI is a plus
- Ability to manage different projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Intellectual curiosity and desire to develop analytical and communication skills
- Team Player, multitasking and responding rapidly to frequent changes
- Demonstrates attention to detail
- Experience working under pressure and with critical deadlines while producing quality and timely work
- Willingness to work extended hours during Financial Close and Budget Season (when needed)
Physical Requirements:
- This position requires minimal physical effort.
- Must be able to endure prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer for a minimum of 8 hours a day
