Position: Executive Sous Chef

Work Status: Exempt/Salary

Compensation: $60,000-$65,000/year

Position Summary:  

The Executive Sous Chef is responsible for providing leadership and maintaining the highest standards in food preparation, customer service, hospitality, and cleanliness. This position oversees the general functioning of the kitchen and assists front-of-house managers with supervision of front-of-house staff when it pertains to kitchen issues and food knowledge.

Job Requirements:

• 2 or more years of Sous Chef experience 
• Excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills 
• A hospitality-first mindset 
• Knowledge of food preparation and existing health and safety standards 
• Solid understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment 
• Experience in leading and training teams of 10 or more employees. 
• Obtain a ServSafe certificate and Responsible Sellers within 90 days of employment.
