The Business Analyst provides business support as a member of the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) by working with other teams and business units to execute projects according to project plans and business specifications. The individual works as a member of multiple project teams during inception, design, development, quality assurance and ongoing application maintenance for enterprise projects. The Business Analyst blends business skills and experience in leading cross-functional initiatives to facilitate sessions with multiple stakeholders to drive measurable results. The Business Analyst reports to the Director of Enterprise Project Management. This position works on-site, in-office in Tallahassee, Florida.
75% - Evaluates business processes, documents processes, and recommends efficient and effective solutions/updates
15% - Develops a deep understanding of existing business unit processes and data elements to increase efficiencies, promote adoption of technology and act as a subject matter expert during project activities
10% - Performs other duties as assigned
Seven years of related experience. Or any combination of education and/or experience equal to the minimum requirements. A postsecondary degree may be used as an alternative for years of direct experience; 2 years for an associate degree, 4 years for a bachelor’s degree, 6 years for a master’s degree, 7 years for a professional degree, or 9 years for a doctoral degree.

Strong knowledge of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
Skill in business analysis methods and techniques
Skill in Microsoft products, in particular Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Proficient technical writing and composition skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate difficult concepts to non-technical users
Hiring Range: $70,900 - $89,000
