About the Opportunity

We are looking for an Outbound Sales Representative to join the team at Flippa, reporting directly to our SDR Sales Manager and is based in Austin. Fresh from our $15M Series A capital raise led by OneVentures and supported by some of Australia’s best entrepreneurs we are accelerating our growth and scaling our platform.

This is an exciting role where you will be responsible for helping our potential sellers in the early stages of their selling journey on the Flippa platform and working with them to get their online business listed.

As an Outbound Sales Representative at Flippa, you’ll get to -

  • Be a hunter for new business, winning listings to the Flippa platform.
  • Call and attempt to engage with 100 potential business owners each day in an effort to educate on what an exit on Flippa looks like.
  • Guide business owners on the benefits of listing and selling their business on Flippa.
  • Input, update and maintain CRM records on each account and opportunity for assigned area(s).
  • Participate in weekly team meetings (updates/forecasting/training/coaching)
  • Develop a deep knowledge of the Flippa platform and the online business space.
  • Become an advocate for Flippa and help business owners understand why Flippa should be their number one choice for selling their online business.

What success looks like - 

  • Meeting monthly targets on revenue and listings live on Flippa
  • Meeting weekly KPI measurements such as phone calls and meetings. 
    • 80% of your communication with customers and partners will be via phone
  • Meet Monthly targets of 15 live listings from outbound efforts and a listing revenue generation of $4,485USD

What you bring to the table - 

  • A hunter mentality
  • Proven experience in high volume sales cold-calling 
  • The tenacity to make 100 sales calls a day.
  • An understanding of the online business space (Amazon FBA, Ecommerce, Blogs, Apps, SaaS) is preferred.
  • Prior experience using CRM - HubSpot is favorable.
