Account Manager What We NeedFLEETCOR is currently looking to hire an Account Manager within our TA Connections division. This position falls under our Airline/Lodging line of business and is located in Schaumburg, IL. In this role, you will be a leader managing clients in the hospitality industry. The Account Manager will be responsible for supporting high value clients with a multi-regional footprint. You will report directly to the Account Director and regularly collaborate with operations departments and hotels.How We WorkAs an Account Manager, you will be expected to work in an office environment. FLEETCOR will set you up for success by providing:Assigned workspace in Schaumburg, IL Company-issued equipment Formal, hands-on training Key CompetenciesRelationship ManagementContract ManagementExcellent Communication skillsProcurement/NegotiationAbility to handle and coordinate multiple projectsData Analysis and reportingOperational supportRole ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities of the role will include:Developing, managing, executing and renewing hotel contracts on behalf of clientsTracking and identifying savings and revenue potential in accounts by studying current business and identifying and evaluating additional needs/opportunitiesDeveloping account loyalty by making presentations, explaining/ensuring knowledge of products, service enhancements and additions Contributing information to account management strategies by evaluating current products results; identifying customer’s unmet needs; monitoring competitive products; analyzing customer reactions and sharing this knowledge with the Account Management team and leadershipEvaluating the results of current products, identifying unmet customer needs, analyzing and relaying customer reactions and sharing all acquired knowledge with the Account Management team and Upper ManagementSupervising Account Coordinator assigned to your accounts when appropriateConducting training with hotels on TA Connections proprietary software proceduresLeveraging hotel relationships to assist the finance team with their reconciliation or collection efforts when neededLiaising with Operations and support teams to ensure SLA’s are being metLearning, understanding and participating in the account operation as neededGathering data and preparing deliverables to be shared internally or with clientEnsuring all hotel contractual data is available and accurate on all required systemsIdentifying savings and revenue potential in marketsEffectively communicating with internal and external customersConducting site visits when requiredDelivering Cost SavingsQualifications & Skills3-5 years’ experience in account management, customer service, or sales supportProficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint softwareTravel industry knowledge preferred; international experience preferredExcellent people skills Excellent time management and follow-up skillsStrong negotiation skillsContract management experienceStrong financial acumen and attention to detailAbility to lead and work with a multidisciplinary teamAbility to plan well and take initiativePositive attitudeBi - or multilingual preferred.
