MetroTech is looking to hire an Assistant Account Managerto support sales and provide the highest level of service, temporarily in the summer season, in a rapidly growing Account Management Department. This is an entry level into the Account Management Department! The successful candidate will be part of an Account Management team devoted to providing exceptional customer service to our national clientele. The Assistant Account Manager is responsible for maintaining the day to day functions of assigned accounts as described by team leaders, this a great opportunity to learn and grow with the team!!

Responsibilities and Duties 

•Assist the Account Management team to provide excellent service and meet client’s expectations. 

•Maintain accurate and organized electronic files.

•Ability to resolve conflicts and provide solutions efficiently. 

•Review vendor quotes and prepare quote for clients. 

•Monitor service statuses and actively interface with Dispatch, Service Management, and Field Services to ensure client contractual requirements are met.

•Requires exceptional data analysis and analytical skills to further the success of assigned accounts.

Qualifications and Skills

•Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience.

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

•Ability to manage multiple tasks at a time while paying strict attention to detail.

•Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook). 

•Highly ambitious and want to grow with the organization. 

•Ability to work within a team and foster teamwork. 

•Strong problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills. 

•Schedule can be rotating based on coverage.

Position Type and Expected Hours - This is a full-time position based either remotely or at the Metro Tech office in Schaumburg, IL; hours are based on the critical needs of the operation. Overtime will be required as business needs arise.
