FirstBank Southwest is Hiring an Executive Assistant - CEO Near Amarillo, TX

Job Summary: Responsible for providing comprehensive support to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and serve as a liaison to senior management and the Board of Directors.


Education/Experience:
A minimum of the following education/experience is preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and 2 years’ experience in an executive assistant role; OR
  • Associate degree and 6 years’ experience in an executive assistant role.


Job Specific Responsibilities:

  • Provides comprehensive administrative support, managing day-to-day activities, prioritizing calendars, and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for the CEO, managing correspondence and phone calls.
  • Manages special projects, while effectively communicating project status and ensuring timely completion.
  • Completes all aspects of event planning for high level meetings and special events.
  • Exercises discretion, confidentiality, and sound judgment in handling C-level matters.
  • Act as a liaison between the CEO and interna;/external stakeholders, communicating effectively while maintaining positive relationships and representing the CEO’s interests effectively.
  • Manages end-to-end travel planning, including logistics and expense report preparation.
  • Prepares and organizes materials/reports for board meetings, various committees, and reporting to staff.
  • Maintains the scheduling and administration of the Hodgetown Suite.
  • Proactively anticipates the needs of the CEO and identifies opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Handles a wide range of administrative and support tasks while independently implementing processes that effectively manage projects, information, and people.
  • Prioritizes tasks accordingly.
  • Other duties as assigned.
