Role Description

Firmo is seeking an enthusiastic Project Manager with Ground-Up Commercial Construction experience to join our team! As a Commercial PM based in Atlanta, GA, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of multiple construction projects, from pre-construction to closeout. This is an on-site full-time role in which you will oversee the project timeline, budget, and quality control while coordinating with subcontractors, architects, and clients to ensure project success. Travel to projects in the southeast.

• Demonstrate experience managing ground-up hospitality commercial projects
• Be proficient with construction management software
• Value integrity, professionalism, quality workmanship, and teamwork.

Responsibilities & Duties (include but are not limited to)

• Oversee and manage multiple projects (ground-up hotels, PIPs).
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and buyout.
• Prepare and issue project documentation, RFIs, POs, Scopes, etc.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of all construction project documents, plans.
• Negotiate contracts
• Review all subcontractor’s draw requests and supplier invoices.
• Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge.
• Seek out opportunities, training or otherwise, to enhance skills.
• Mentor and guide direct reports to grow within.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in overseeing multiple construction projects from pre-construction to closeout.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Experience in managing and overseeing subcontractors and vendor relationships.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
• OSHA30 & CPR (or take class upon hire).
• Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) is a PLUS.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Solid professional references.
