Job Overview:
We are seeking a professional and organized Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and administrative support to our office. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, be computer-savvy, and have experience working in a accounting or law office.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome clients in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate staff members
- Schedule appointments and maintain the office calendar
- Assist with filing, organizing documents, and maintaining records
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Use computer software, including QuickBooks, to perform various administrative tasks
- Coordinate projects and assist with project management tasks as assigned
- Provide general clerical support to the office staff
- Assist with other administrative duties as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification is a plus
- Previous experience working as a receptionist or administrative assistant preferred
- Proficiency in typing and computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed
We offer competitive pay based on experience and qualifications. This is a full-time position with regular office hours. Benefits may include health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off.
