Fefa is Hiring an Information Technology Specialist Near Washington, DC

FEFA, LLC is on the lookout for an IT Specialist to join our growing tech team! If you’re passionate about creating responsive, robust, and secure applications, while also helping your internal team troubleshoot basic issues, this role is tailor-made for you. As our go-to in house Tech Specialist, you’ll have the autonomy to design, develop, and implement innovative technology solutions throughout their entire lifecycle per assigned requirements and regulations.

*Must be local to the Washington, DC Metropolitan area*

Your Mission:

  • Craft Brilliance: Lead the charge in analyzing, designing, validating, and deploying cutting-edge web applications.
  • Architect Magic: Create detailed system functional requirements and comprehensive design specs.
  • Database Wizardry: Design and maintain robust MS SQL databases, ensuring peak performance, data integrity, and seamless recovery.
  • SQL Symphony: Seamlessly integrate SQL server reports into your applications.
  • Deadline Dynamo: Meet project timelines without compromising quality.
  • Troubleshoot for the Team: Provide the internal corporate team of professionals with your technical support and know how regarding Microsoft 365, Outlook, SharePoint and more, general IT security, computer equipment set-up and other day to day tech needs within a geographically disbursed corporate office.

Qualifications and Superpowers:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience: Prior government contracting experience highly desired.
  • Web Dev: Proficiency in ASP.NET, PHP, MVC, C#, Web APIs, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MS SQL Server, and MySQL.
  • Database: Model and develop both normalized and de-normalized databases tailored to app requirements.
  • SQL: Expertise in SQL objects development (procedures, functions, triggers), complex queries, and SSRS.
  • GitHub: Familiarity with cloud-based version control platforms.
  • Cloud: Configure and manage web apps on cloud servers.
  • Doc: Create organized system requirement and design docs.
  • Security Sentinel: Understand cloud server security configurations (bonus points if you can spot a pixel out of place).
  • Report Explorer: Knowledge of additional intelligent report tools (because who doesn’t love a good report?).
  • Microsoft 365: Superior skills with navigating, troubleshooting, and fixing issues with the entire Microsoft Suite such as: SharePoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and more.
