POSITION SUMMARYThe HR Business Partner (HRBP), located on site in Everett, Washington, is responsible for all the day to day HR operations of the location. By formulating partnerships across the HR function, this role delivers value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the site. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business’s financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition.
 
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
  • $85,000 - $105,000 Salaried (depending on skills, certifications, education and experience).
  • Comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIESThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Oversees and trains HR in their business location.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Leads regular meetings with respective business units.
  • Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
  • Support departmental goals with HR solutions, driving organizational effectiveness, and enhancing employee engagement
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Keeps up to date on federal, state and local legislation to ensure ongoing compliance
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Develops terms for new hires, promotions and transfers.
  • Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Identifies training needs for business units by developing and conducting relevant internal training sessions
  • Participates in development, evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.
  • Lead Talent Acquisition and Talent Management efforts 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must have strong communication skills which aid in employee relations advice and counsel and relaying HR policies and procedures
  • Ability to remain tactful, calm, and persuasive in confrontational situations
  • Must have strong presentation skills in front of large audiences
  • Must be organized with the ability to maintain excellent records
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Must be a collaborative team player with great initiative
  • Ability to maintain the highest standards of professionalism, solid judgment, poise, maturity, personal integrity, and confidentiality
  • Ability to build and maintain successful and supportive relationships regardless of a person's race, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, cultural background, national origin, or any other component of diversity
  • Excellent ability to maintain composure and effectiveness in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and a positive disposition
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, employee relations, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
  • Computer proficient, with Google products expertise a plus
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in human resources with supervisory experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or an equivalent combination of experience and education required. 
  • Certification in Human Resources
