This position will also be responsible for maintaining and managing the Master Vendor Data file and communicate any issue/concerns to the AP Manager.General Duties & Responsibilities:Assist with resolving escalated vendor issuesUnderstand full-cycle Accounts Payable functionsResearch and reconcile vendor statementsAssist AP team with obtaining documentation for auditsMonth end accruals and close tasksAssist with 1099 reporting and related projectsWork with vendor specialist to resolve payment and/or vendor setup issuesSpecial projects and additional duties as assigned, including M&A integrationUnderstand and adhere to internal controlsWork with vendor specialist to ensure all vendor requests contain appropriate supporting documentation and comply with corporate requirementsAnalyze and improve data quality which includes running data audit reports to eliminate duplicates, standardize text formats,etc.Identify data quality issues and work with management to develop new processes to correct and prevent future data quality issues· Educational Requirements:Four-year degree in Accounting or Finance preferred 4 years of relevant experience Must be Proficient with ExcelMicrosoft Access experience a plusGL and reconciliation experience a plusJDA/Microsoft Dynamics experience is a definite plusStrong organization and analytical skills requiredAbility to communicate with all levels of managementAbility to work in a fast-paced environment Strong working knowledge of accounting practices and principlesKnowledge Skills & Abilities:Demonstrated ability to work effectively either as an individual or member of a team and relate effectively with staff on all levelsDemonstrated ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, in a clear and concise mannerDemonstrated ability to quickly learn new information, processes, and proceduresGood numeracy skills, attention to detail and accuracyDemonstrated ability to meet deadlines, determine priorities and organize work to meet objectives and identify and deal with problemsExperience in the use of Microsoft Office suite of productsEnsure your Fanatics job offer is legitimate and don’t fall victim to fraud.
