This position will also be responsible for maintaining and managing the Master Vendor Data file and communicate any issue/concerns to the AP Manager.General Duties & Responsibilities:Assist with resolving escalated vendor issuesUnderstand full-cycle Accounts Payable functionsResearch and reconcile vendor statementsAssist AP team with obtaining documentation for auditsMonth end accruals and close tasksAssist with 1099 reporting and related projectsWork with vendor specialist to resolve payment and/or vendor setup issuesSpecial projects and additional duties as assigned, including M&A integrationUnderstand and adhere to internal controlsWork with vendor specialist to ensure all vendor requests contain appropriate supporting documentation and comply with corporate requirementsAnalyze and improve data quality which includes running data audit reports to eliminate duplicates, standardize text formats,etc.Identify data quality issues and work with management to develop new processes to correct and prevent future data quality issues· Educational Requirements:Four-year degree in Accounting or Finance preferred 4 years of relevant experience Must be Proficient with ExcelMicrosoft Access experience a plusGL and reconciliation experience a plusJDA/Microsoft Dynamics experience is a definite plusStrong organization and analytical skills requiredAbility to communicate with all levels of managementAbility to work in a fast-paced environment Strong working knowledge of accounting practices and principlesKnowledge Skills & Abilities:Demonstrated ability to work effectively either as an individual or member of a team and relate effectively with staff on all levelsDemonstrated ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, in a clear and concise mannerDemonstrated ability to quickly learn new information, processes, and proceduresGood numeracy skills, attention to detail and accuracyDemonstrated ability to meet deadlines, determine priorities and organize work to meet objectives and identify and deal with problemsExperience in the use of Microsoft Office suite of productsEnsure your Fanatics job offer is legitimate and don’t fall victim to fraud.
