Fairfield Inn & Suites Nashville Southwest is Hiring a Sales Manager Near Nashville, TN
Overall Responsibilities:
-Initiate and follow up on leads for your market segment
-Create contracts for event spaces and group room blocks
-Make sales calls, visit customer locations and make on-the-spot presentations
-Work collaboratively with the entire hotel team to make sure all sales efforts are coordinated and complementary
-Work with our business software including brand required sales software, MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
-Generate reports, enter business, blocking space and building accounts
-Conducting thorough but interesting site inspections that highlight key features and benefits of our hotel
-Follow-up on leads and close business in order to positively impact hotel revenues
-Maintains performance level when experiencing changes or challenges.
-Adhere to all standards, policies, and procedures and consistently maintain a professional and ethical representation.
-Performs other duties, as assigned, to meet business needs.
Requirements:
-Minimum 1 year of Marriott experience required
-Sales experience preferred
