- Manage projects (planning, scheduling, and monitoring throughout project life cycle)
- Determine resources needed to meet objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
- Track project costs in order to meet the budget
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
- Address project escalations as they arise and involve direct supervisor as needed
- Field inquiries from team members and clients on project requests
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
- Oversee and assist with daily activities for Project Engineers
- Maintain Professional Services team schedules and monitor for team utilization
- Facilitate collaboration amongst the team
- Review, revise, and implement team processes as necessary
- Field all new orders and assign out for project process to start
- Assist with pre-sales coordination (assign Professional Services resource to scope out a solution when needed, schedule scoping calls)
- Draft Scopes of Work and gather estimates
- Work with procurement to get quotes and parts for projects as needed; work with Professional Services Engineers to finalize project quote.
- Coordinate with accounting team on project billing
- 5 years of project management experience, preferably with an MSP
- 2 years of staff management experience, preferably with an MSP
- Knowledge of MS Office products
- Technical competency with scheduling and resource management products.
- ConnectWise experience preferred
- Professional, pleasant, and patient demeanor
- Ability to communicate and document successfully with team members
- Exceptionally self-reliant and self-directed
- Work in a temperature-controlled office environment
- Low to moderate noise levels consistent within an office environment; staff, phones, collaborative dialogue
- Computer
- Multi-function printer/scanner
- Desk phone
- Interact with managers, co-workers, and clients
- Supervise project management and Professional Services staff, if applicable
- Constantly talk, hear, sit, utilize keyboard/ten key; fine dexterity with hands and repetitive hand motion.
- Occasionally reach overhead, kneel, climb, and stand.
- Rarely lift and carry between to 21-50lbs., push/pull between 21-50 lbs., squat, crawl, walk-slippery surfaces, walk-uneven surfaces, and bend.
