Human Resources and Office Administrative Assistant

JOB PURPOSE
As the Human Resources administrative assistant your goal will be to assist the CEO in building the people strategies that will propel the organization to grow and meet company goals using the SMART goal framework (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound).

As the Office Administrator you will perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization.

· Previous experience in office administration

· Very comfortable with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

· Ability to prioritize and multitask

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Experience is a plus.

· plan and manage recruitment and selection of staff

· plan and conduct new employee orientation

· identify and manage training and development needs for employees

· develop and implement human resources policies and procedures

· administer HR policies and procedures

· handle employee complaints, grievances and disputes

· conduct exit interviews

· review and update employee rules and regulations

· coordinate employee safety, welfare and wellness

· maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR functions

Administrative:

· Open and close the office Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

· Manage incoming emails by responding in a timely basis, working with other departments to address incoming requests, etc.

· Client Communication – Be prepared to write messages that will be sent to clients via Connectwise upon the approval of the CEO. i.e. Holiday Messages.

· Track all mail received and all shipments sent out. As needed, take packages to the UPS store.

· Track office inventory including techs resources.

· Keep the office clean and organized.

· Other duties as requested by the CEO.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

· degree or diploma in human resources management, business administration or equivalent
