Join Our Team as an Accounts Receivable Lead at our San Antonio Headquarters!

Responsibilities:

• Oversight and management of the following functions within the company's ERP system:
  • Customer Cards
  • Sales Orders
  • Sales Invoices
  • Payment applications
  • Cash Receipt Journals
  • Customer Ledger entries
• Perform routine customer invoicing and collections.
• Manage all receivable-related conversations within the accounting inboxes.
• Post daily bank and credit card deposits.
• Reconcile customer agings and ensure proper application of payments to sales invoices.
• Conduct routine meetings with management to review customer agings, present findings, and offer suggestions for resolving outstanding balances.
• Post old sales orders shipped but not yet invoiced to respective department leads. Obtain status updates of old sales orders not yet shipped.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of sales orders before posting invoices. Collaborate with department leads to resolve any outstanding items.
• Actively communicate with Controller, Ownership, and Project Managers to ensure completeness and accuracy of open receivables.
• Perform recurring month-end receivables tasks.
• Conduct sales tax verifications.

Knowledge, Education, and Experience:

• 3-5 years prior experience in accounts receivables.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Professional and strong understanding, use, and technical use ability of Microsoft Office products, i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Office 365, etc.
• ERP system experience, preferably with Microsoft systems
