Evolve is on a mission to make vacation rental easy for everyone and we’re looking for an experienced Marketing Project Manager who can help us get there. 

As Marketing Project Manager at Evolve, you’ll play an integral role in helping us to manage and improve marketing execution through a disciplined approach to Project Management. In this highly collaborative and hands-on role, you’ll partner with business stakeholders to intake and assess marketing requests, accurately scope projects, allocate the right resources, successfully execute projects, and retro the impact of our efforts to improve over time. You’ll be responsible for bringing all parties together, sharing information and resources, and identifying improvements to create a culture of operational and executional excellence.

What you’ll do

Project forecasting and planning 

• Manage ongoing marketing team planning process, gathering and estimating requests from teams, working to adjust planned volume to team capacity, and supporting prioritization with leadership for each planning cycle.
• Collaborate with marketing leaders and non-marketing requesters to prioritize new requests, gather the correct information from stakeholders, and complete project briefs.
• Assess team time and effort needed for marketing requests to help stakeholders understand actual effort required and to create realistic timelines prior to kickoff.
• Meet or proactively communicate with teams outside of Marketing to identify upcoming work requests and ensure that those requests are successfully submitted and evaluated. 
• Manage and facilitate project kick-off meetings and team huddles, ultimately orienting teams towards timely completion of project milestones. 

Ongoing project management 

• Lead the project management team and process to progressively better performance, improving accuracy of estimates and capacity, aligning teams on priorities, and creating more predictability in planning and execution.
• Manage projects through our project management system, Asana, including building of tasks, deadlines, dependencies, cloning, etc., as well as providing all context needed to complete tasks.
• Document and publish processes, team and project roadmaps, and any other resources needed to keep the teams and organization aligned and efficient 
• Manage 1-2 direct report(s) responsible for project intake, tracking, troubleshooting, and successful delivery.
• Work with individual contributors across the organization to ensure that projects in progress are completed in a timely and quality manner
• Serve as a resource for project members, removing roadblocks and working with stakeholders to solve any challenges that the team encounters
• Monitor project risks and scope creep to identify potential threats to project timelines. Suggest solutions to address these issues in advance. 
• Communicate often with project stakeholders to manage expectations on realistic timelines for project completion.
• Proactively monitor marketing team capacity, understanding when and how additional work needs to be started or paused to maintain team work life harmony and keep everyone focused on the highest impact work.
• Lead project retrospectives to help the team improve and iterate internal processes, identifying areas for future improvements and develop processes to meet these needs

What makes you a great fit

• 5 years as certified project management professional or marketing project management experience
• 2 years people management experience
• Experience using Asana or other similar project management platforms
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to create and enforce scalable processes 
• Flexible with changing priorities, open to constructive feedback and willing to learn
• Ability to multitask, collaborate, and prioritize in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
• Self-motivated - you don’t look for direction, you make it happen
• A hands-on, go-getter attitude 
• Meticulous attention to detail 
• Innate ability to understand both the big picture and the tactics needed to get there 
• Travel industry experience is a plus

Location 

We currently are able to hire throughout the U.S except in the following states: California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, New Jersey, New Mexico and Pennsylvania. If you live in Colorado, you can work remotely anywhere in the state, at our downtown Denver office, or a hybrid of both!

Compensation

Exempt

Annual base salary range: $109,000-$125,000, depending on relevant experience
