Evans & Chambers Technology is Hiring a Capture Manager Near Washington, DC
Evans & Chambers has an immediate opening for a highly motivated Capture Manager to expand their existing business within the Defense and Defense Intelligence Community. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the capture of multi-million-dollar opportunities, management of bid and proposal (B&P) resources, target identification, capture strategies, proposal management, contract award and customer relations.
Clearance: Active TS/SCI security clearance (desired)
Location: Washington, DC & DMV Area
Responsibilities
- Identifies opportunities that align with the core service offerings and strategic direction of the organization
- Develops value propositions, win themes, and messaging to convert pursuits to wins faster
- Assists with rapid proposal development and submission activities (e.g. RFP and RFI responses)
- Manages pipeline opportunities from identification to award
- Understands and leverages current program capabilities to drive additional business on existing programs
- Leads the development and execution of winning strategies for opportunities within Defense Community opportunities, including win-theme development, digital marketing campaigns, call plans development, customer analysis, competitive analysis, solution development, and teammate partnering
- Tracks and assesses impact of industry/market changes on programs and growth strategies
- Ensures the delivery of a winning offer through the management and coordination of capture and proposal activities
- Makes informed decisions and recommendations to protect bidding and proposal resources for the highest probability pursuits
- Provides weekly updates in the organization's CRM to demonstrate activity and progress
Required
- Minimum 7 years of experience working within through the entire capture lifecycle
- Proven track record of growing business and closing deals
- Proven track record of teaming and developing mutually beneficial partner relationships with peers and other vendors
- Able to effectively diagnose client needs and propose solutions that have measurable and positive business impact
- Awareness of Cloud Engineering, User Experience Design, Big Data, or Cyber Defense is a plus
Reporting
- This position will report to the COO and work closely Director of Defense Programs.
