Eurostars Hotels Company, is a hotel chain launched in 2005 that has more than 200 hotels oriented towards a business or cultural clients at national and international level.
You will report to the Hotel Director and your duties will be:
- Support during the recruitment process
- Managing the workers signing control system, payroll preparation bi-weekly
- Coordinate the employment contract with the specialist
- Verify employment eligibility and completes I-9 forms and coordinates criminal background check processes
- Support the managers during the recruitment process
- Coordinate with the headquarters the skills tests to applicants.
- FMLA procedures
-Workers Compensation Claims
-Performance reviews, such as, but not limited to issuing warnings
-Work hand-in-hand with manager on daily tasks
-Problem solving
-answer emails on daily bases
-Work with our benefits team doing tasks such as offering coverage for employees when they qualify, review plans etc.
-Complete other human resources tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in human resources or business preferred
- 2 years of proven work experience as an HR Admin or relevant role
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, with Excel being key.
- Ability to professionally interact with staff (at all levels), proactive, resourceful and efficient.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Professionalism and confidentiality are required.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is a must
