As Asset Manager you are responsible for creating and managing the real estate portfolio investor and lender reporting, assisting in asset financial review, supporting the onboarding of new assets to the portfolio, and assisting in the disposition process. You will be a collaborator and partner working directly with management, vendors, Property Management, Property Accounting, the legal team, and operating support. The role reports to the Vice President, Asset Management

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial analysis, market studies, and industry standard reporting.
  • Actively work with development, property managers, and leasing agents.
  • Propose and implement goals and objectives to each property based on the asset strategy and update as needed.
  • Research and provide information to assist in the preparation of property operating budgets.
  • Review and analyze monthly operating statements.
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting of the portfolio to partners.
  • Track loan maturities, lender reporting and due diligence as needed.
  • Draft monthly/quarterly distribution calculations for VP approval.
  • Draft quarterly AM summary reports for approval by VP.
  • Ensure property documentation and dashboards are updated and accurate.
  • Implement initial onboarding of assets with acquisitions and development.
  • Maintain tenant relationships and manage ongoing A/R issues with Property Management.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or real estate required.
  • 5 years of real estate investment or asset management experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to perform financial analysis including ROI, IRR and discounted cash flow modeling.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with high competency in Excel required.
  • Experience using YARDI and SharePoint preferred.
