Equity ECS is a full service commercial real estate firm. Our comprehensive platform includes development, construction, brokerage and property management services that are tailored to provide solutions to each client’s needs. As Assistant Property Manager you are responsible for assisting in the day-to-day activities of the management of the assigned portfolio of commercial properties. You communicate directly with tenants and will be the first point of contact for inquiries about rent, leases, and maintenance. You will connect with all on-site management including contractors, maintenance and security to ensure everything is handled well at all assigned properties.
What are the Key Objectives:
- Assist the Property Managers and Lease Administrator with administrative tasks such as preparing the budgets, collecting rent, and sending tenant notices.
- Oversee facility upkeep, assisting in inspecting and maintaining properties, public areas and grounds via the work order system.
- Act as the point of contact for tenant inquiries and concerns.
- Manage tenant move-in and move-out processes, handling paperwork, and explaining policies and procedures.
- Create service contracts, coordinate vendors, and new vendor/client relationships.
- Assist in acquiring multiple bids and create/monitor asset management forms for approval.
- Assist in annual budgeting process.
- Manage workforce program and dispatch maintenance as needed.
What You Offer:
- 2 years' experience in commercial real estate property management preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and/or equivalent experience
- Valid drivers’ license, required
- Real Estate License or willingness to obtain preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office and YARDI preferred
