An opportunity exists to join the Asset Management Controller team as part of Global Finance and Business Management. The Controller team is focused on ensuring the accuracy, integrity and timeliness of the firm’s books and records, with an emphasis on general ledger, operating systems, and infrastructure controls across the entire lifecycle of the Asset Management business.
Job responsibilities:
The Associate Controller job responsibilities include preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, investment reporting, legal entity and line of business month-end close, pre- and post-close variance analysis, process documentation, financial statement preparation, general ledger chart of accounts support, and leading ad hoc projects. This role will require that you work independently and in team environments that require strong interpersonal skills.
Initiative is expected to be demonstrated for building efficiencies and strengthening the internal control environment of our team. This is inclusive of providing thorough documentation of work performed that will withstand an audit by external or internal examiners.

Candidates must be able to physically work in our Columbus, OH office 3 days a week and remotely from home 2 days per week. The specific schedule will be determined and communicated by direct management
