Qualifications of a Wellness Coordinator:
- 3-5 years of Caregiving experience/ year Med Tech experience
- Supervisory/Managerial experience necessary
- Relevant certifications in gerontology or wellness programming are a plus.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a nursing home or long-term care setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and empathy when working with elderly residents.
- Ability to create and adapt wellness programs to suit various physical abilities and cognitive levels.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in documenting and reporting on resident progress.
