With aggressive plans for expansion, we're looking for an organized, thorough and hands-on construction project manager interested in joining our corporate family. The ideal candidate will be comfortable reporting to our corporate headquarters in Dallas, TX and traveling to our project sites, collaborating with and reporting directly to our CEO and COO, has experience liaising between the executive team and government municipalities, GC's, vendors and other project partners, and can self-start and execute responsibilities single-handedly from pre-development through Certificate of Occupancy. Here's the fine print...

• Oversees the development and construction of all new venue openings.
• Partners with local jurisdictions to obtain entitlements and/or conditions for development approval. 
• Acts as the liaison with city and other governmental officials, participating in and organizing meetings as needed.
• Coordinates, schedules and attends architectural design/schedule matters. Follows through with all pertinent parties to ensure that appropriate action on pending matters is taken.
• Assists in the coordination of zoning matters with appropriate consultants, legal and governmental bodies. 
• Ensures all plan and required submittals are processed and follows through to obtain approvals as required. 
• Responsible for the coordination of land surveys, easements, etc. and works with involved parties to ensure work is done as required.
• Interviews and selects general contractors, subcontractors, and other similar 3rd party vendors, preparing and soliciting bids accordingly. 
• Coordinates environmental reviews and remediation efforts on various development projects.
• Monitors and coordinates the work effort of all project architects, engineers and consultants to ensure their scope of work is in alignment with the project budget, schedule and development guidelines.
• Monitors construction activity and schedule. Visits project sites as appropriate for the purpose of understanding project schedule and budget as it relates to the overall interest of the development.
• Prepares weekly reports for the executive team including status of construction, cost variances, unresolved items and other project related reports. 
• Analyzes construction and development costs and understand the impact of these on the development project. 
• Monitors project closeout processes including contract closeouts, punch lists and final payments. 
• Maintains development records such as architect plans, civil/survey plans, environmental reports, etc.
• Communicates with accounting and operations on construction and development needs.

Candidates with the following experience will be strongly considered...

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related field 
• 3-5 years field experience 
• Knowledge and experience with commercial restaurant operations and equipment 
• Experience with tilt wall construction
