Summary : Seeking a Parts Customer Service Representative with experience in customer service and knowledge of heavy equipment service or manufacturing.
Requirements :
HS diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum one year of customer-facing experience
Basic understanding of heavy equipment service or manufacturing
Familiarity with business-to-business commerce
Proficient typing skills, 30 WPM minimum
Competency in Microsoft Office suite
Preferred Skills :
Experience with Infor software
Responsibilities :
Develop and maintain positive customer relationships
Act as inside sales to boost sales volume per customer
Forward opportunities for deeper customer engagement to Parts Department Manager
Utilize company order management software proficiently
Assist finance department with collecting overdue payments (>
60 days) for parts orders
Adhere to company policy and ensure accurate and timely work completion
Maintain safety standards by adhering to safety rules and conducting safety audits
Generate revenue and profit by handling spare part orders efficiently : quoting, order entry, aiding in part identification, referring technical inquiries, and responding to order information requests
Collaborate with production planning for scheduling inputs, lead times, and RTS dates
Identify and solve order issues prior to entry : pricing discrepancies, profit concerns, sales contract issues, INACT or IHACT parts identification
Assess customer urgency accurately for expedited orders
Pay Details : $20.00 to $30.00 per hour
